Vincent St. Pierre

Vincent St. Pierre has been an active citizen in his community for over 15 years.

He is a born and raised Calgarian who is passionate about the political process. Earlier in his career, he was an organizer in multiple campaigns, such as being both a campaign organizer and manager for three members of the Hehr family (Dr. Judy Hehr, Hon. Kent Hehr and Richard Hehr). Under his leadership and guidance, he led to successful, positive change in the community, such as the first non-Conservative Member of Parliament elected in Calgary since 1968.

Most recently, Vincent was the campaign staffer for the Fluoride Yes! Campaign, where Calgarians voted to return fluoridation to our city in 2021. He has worked in Ottawa as a political staffer and now actively volunteers with the Downtown Core Neighbourhood Association and the Canadian Club of Calgary

Vincent has been featured as a national blogger, writing about politics, and receiving awards (such as being Canada’s #1 Political Blog at the 2012 Canadian Blogging Awards, winning the same award in 2013, and Canada’s #2 Political Blog at the 2012 Canadian Weblog Awards). In 2022 he was nominated for the Calgary Awards, an annual awards program with the City of Calgary that features our city's volunteers, advocates and those involved in our shared public life.

He is a proud graduate of the University of Calgary (BA '14, History). He now works as an assistant with an ed-tech and early education company in downtown Calgary.
