Sally Lewis

Sally Lewis was a “Headhunter” for 30 years who, prior to her retirement, managed the Western Canadian operations of an international search firm. Now focusing on a new chapter in her life, Sally joined the Canadian Club of Calgary’s Board of Directors in 2016 as Co-Chair of the Speakers Committee. With family roots in Canada going back 5 generations, her interest in “all things Canadian” runs deep, and she has a keen desire to contribute to the community around her.

Her background includes being a member of the Board of Directors of a private golf and country club in Calgary, a member on the board of the Calgary Ladies Golf Association, District Treasurer for the Girl Guides of Canada, participation on numerous professional technology committees and offering her time on countless volunteer committees. Spare time is spent golfing, biking, hiking and skiing. Other interests include travelling throughout Canada and the world at large including over 40 countries outside of North America.

Sally maintains there is still “no place like home”, and to date she has enjoyed travelling in every province and territory in Canada, including trekking across Baffin Island’s Auyuittuq National Park, without confronting a single polar bear.
